Dabaco Group to pay 15% stock dividend for 2024

HCMC – Dabaco Group, whose DBC shares are traded on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange, has announced a plan to issue shares for 15% dividend payment for 2024.

For every 100 shares held, shareholders will get an additional 15 new shares. The share issue is expected to be carried out in the third quarter of this year pending approval from the State Securities Commission.

With 334.67 million shares outstanding, Dabaco is estimated to issue over 50.2 million more shares in the upcoming dividend payment.

Dabaco Vietnam posted strong business results in the first quarter of 2025, with revenue reaching VND3,609.4 billion, up 11% compared to the same period last year. Its after-tax profit surged to VND508.26 billion.

The firm looks to obtain VND28,759 billion in revenue and VND1,007 billion in after-tax profit this year. With after-tax profit reaching VND508.26 billion in the first quarter alone, the company had already fulfilled 50.5% of its full-year profit target.

Closing the trading session today, July 17, DBC rose by 1.19% to VND34,000, with nearly 18.3 million shares changing hands.

With 209 winners and 115 losers, the VN-Index of the Hochiminh Stock Exchange climbed 14.54 points, or 0.99% against the previous session, at 1,490.01 points.

Nearly 1.45 billion shares worth VND35.7 trillion were transacted, up 7% in volume and 8% in value. Block deal transactions contributed VND4.5 trillion to the overall value.

Real estate and construction stocks continued to attract the most capital inflow, highlighted by strong gains in the Vingroup family of stocks.

VHM hit the ceiling price of VND94,100, with 8.8 million shares traded. VIC rose 3.9% to VND122,000, while VRE gained 3.3% to close at VND29,750.

DIG and NVL were among the most actively traded stocks on the market, with trading volumes reaching 51.6 million and 54.8 million shares, respectively.

On the northern exchange, the HNX-Index rose by 3.74 points, or 1.54%, to 246.09 points, with 96 gainers and 71 decliners. Total matched trading volume reached nearly 197 million shares worth a combined VND3,426.7 billion.
