Ambassador Cruise II, a flagship vessel of Asia Premier Cruises, has set two national records, becoming Vietnam’s largest-capacity cruise ship and the first to feature a live performance show on Halong Bay.
The five-star steel vessel spans 90 meters in length and five decks in height, with capacity for up to 600 guests, making it the largest and most luxurious cruise operating in the UNESCO-listed bay.
The ship boasts 10,000 square meters of lettable space and is the only cruise in Halong equipped with an elevator for elderly and disabled passengers.
The second record was awarded for Love in the Bay, a 90-minute mini-show performed on board during the dinner cruise. Set against Halong Bay’s limestone cliffs, the production blends dramatic lighting, cabaret-style entertainment, and live music from prominent Vietnamese artists such as Phuong Thanh, Luong Bich Huu, and Vicky Nhung.
Ambassador Cruise II offers both an eight-hour day cruise and a four-hour evening cruise, each tailored to different guest preferences. Daytime itineraries include visits to popular sites such as Sung Sot Cave and Titov Island, kayaking at Luon Cave, cooking classes, and live music. In the evening, the ship transforms into the Ambassador Dinner Cruise, featuring gourmet Asian and Western cuisine alongside live performances.
Since its debut in 2021, Ambassador Cruise has expanded its fleet with four vessels and introduced innovative experiences, including “Dining Under the Stars” and a cave dining concept at Dragon Pearl Cave near Halong City.
