HCMC – The Argentinian Government has announced a donation of 500,000 doses of the AstraZeneca Covid vaccine to Vietnam to help the latter fight the pandemic.
The donation is part of the South American country’s relief aid package of some one million vaccine doses for five nations, VietnamPlus news site reported.
The joint efforts of many countries worldwide will help reduce the impact of the Covid pandemic on the economy and health of the people, according to a decree signed by Argentina’s President Alberto Fernandez.
The Argentinian Government said the pandemic is a global challenge, so it is necessary to follow a solidarity strategy toward accessing Covid vaccines fairly.
As 75% of Argentina’s population have got at least one shot of the Covid vaccine, it is time to share Covid vaccine doses with other countries, showing solidarity and contributing to the battle against the global health crisis, according to the Argentinian Government.
