HCMC – Vietnam has been named among the world’s top 10 “Most Attractive Countries” and “Friendliest Countries” in the Readers’ Choice Awards 2025 by U.S.-based travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler.
The magazine praised Vietnam for its diverse natural landscapes—from mountains and deltas to long coastlines—and its rich cultural heritage. It also highlighted the friendliness and openness of the Vietnamese people as key factors that make the country appealing to international visitors.
In 2024, Vietnam welcomed nearly 18 million international arrivals. Newly launched flight routes have strengthened connectivity, allowing travelers easier access to destinations across the country.
Condé Nast Traveler also noted that Vietnam’s strong sense of community is evident from urban areas to rural regions. International travelers often find cultural experiences—particularly in the northern mountainous provinces—memorable and authentic.
In addition, Phu Quoc Island was named the most beautiful island in Asia in the magazine’s “Top Islands: Readers’ Choice Awards 2025.”
The recognition reaffirms Vietnam’s growing position as a welcoming and diverse destination in the global tourism landscape.
