A new luxury overnight cruise is set to launch on the Saigon River in mid-April, marking the first such offering in nearly 20 years and adding a new dimension to the city’s hospitality sector.
Sea Stars Cruise – Star of the South, anchored at the historic Nha Rong Wharf, will feature 39 suites ranging from 30 to 198 square meters, including a two-bedroom Presidential Suite.
Marketed as the city’s only luxury river-based accommodation, the vessel aims to reposition the Saigon River as a destination rather than merely a scenic backdrop.
The cruise is equipped with a range of amenities, including a spa, swimming pool, gym, sauna, and meeting rooms, targeting both leisure travelers and corporate clients.
In addition to overnight stays, it will offer curated dining, themed dinner cruises, private charters, and MICE services.
Chief executive and founder Bui Manh Trang said the concept is designed to provide a new perspective of the city. “This is not just a place to stay, but a new vantage point to experience the city,” he said.
