Fuel prices rise ahead of holiday

HCMC – Fuel prices were raised by VND792 to VND1,475 per liter or kilogram from 3:00 p.m. on April 29, according to the ministries of Industry-Trade and Finance.

RON95-III gasoline increased by VND870 to VND23,750 per liter. E5 RON92 picked up by VND790 to VND22,630 per liter.

Diesel oil saw the largest rise, up VND1,475 to VND28,172 per liter. Heavy fuel oil climbed VND1,220 to VND20,030 per kilogram.

This time, no surcharge is imposed on fuels and local fuel retailers are not allowed to tap the fuel price stabilization fund.
