HCMC – The 20th edition of the International Travel Expo HCMC, known as ITE HCMC, is scheduled to take place from August 27 to 29, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC).
Organized by HCMC’s tourism sector, the event aims to strengthen international tourism connectivity, promote Vietnam as a travel destination and expand tourism cooperation across the region and globally.
Pre-event activities are scheduled to take place from August 19 to 26, while related promotional programs will continue through September 6, 2026.
In addition to the main exhibition space at SECC, a range of side events will be held at hotels, conference centers, tourist attractions, Nguyen Hue Boulevard and other venues across the city.
ITE HCMC 2026 will be organized in a hybrid format combining in person activities with a 3D virtual exhibition platform, alongside an online appointment system connecting international buyers with participating businesses to improve trade matching efficiency.
Organizers expect this year’s event to attract around 520 exhibitors across a total exhibition area of 9,000 square meters, including international tourism promotion agencies, airlines, hotel groups, travel companies, tourism technology firms, MICE organizations and local authorities from across Vietnam.
The exhibition will showcase tourist destinations, travel products, tourism technologies and regional specialty products from Vietnam and abroad, alongside business matching programs, online B2B appointment sessions and tourism promotion activities throughout the event.
A speed networking session between sellers and international buyers is scheduled for August 26 as part of the event.
On August 27 and 28, the exhibition will open to trade visitors from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., before welcoming both trade and public visitors from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. On August 29, the event will be fully open to the public from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The International Buyers Program, running from August 24 to 31, is expected to attract around 260 international buyers, including executives from travel agencies, investors, MICE operators, resort tourism companies, medical tourism firms and luxury travel businesses.
Participating companies and invited guests are expected from more than 45 countries and territories, with a focus on key markets in Northeast Asia, Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, Oceania, South Asia and the Middle East.
