Azerai La Residence, Hue has been named among the “500 Best Hotels in the World 2026” by U.S.-based travel magazine Travel + Leisure, marking a significant international recognition for the luxury heritage property in central Vietnam.
The accolade places the hotel among just 12 Vietnamese properties included in this year’s list and makes it the only hotel from Hue to receive the distinction.
Travel + Leisure’s annual “World’s Best Awards” are widely regarded as one of the hospitality industry’s most influential rankings, based on reader evaluations of hotels, destinations and travel experiences.
Situated on the banks of the Perfume River, the 122-room hotel is centered on a historic colonial mansion built in 1930 as part of the residence of the French Resident Superieur in central Vietnam.
Earlier this year, Azerai La Residence, Hue was recognized among Vietnam’s top hotels by The Times of London and was recommended by the MICHELIN Guide as a leading boutique property for culture-focused travel.
Meanwhile, its sister resort, Azerai Ke Ga Bay in southern Vietnam, recently joined the Small Luxury Hotels of the World collection, further expanding the Azerai brand’s international profile.
