HCMC–Three Covid-19 antiviral drugs containing the molnupiravir active substance that have been approved by the Health Ministry recently will be priced in the range of VND8,675 and VND12,500 per pill, according to the ministry’s Drug Administration of Vietnam.
The Drug Administration of Vietnam on February 23 announced the sale price of the three Molnupiravir products. According to local media reports, the 400-mg Molravir drug produced by Boston Vietnam Pharmaceutical JSC will be priced at VND11,500 per pill.
Meanwhile, Movinavir produced by Mekophar Chemical Pharmaceutical JSC will cost VND8,675 per pill and Molnupiravir Stella (400 mg) from Stellapharm Vietnam will be sold at VND12,500 per pill.
On February 17, the Drug Administration of Vietnam approved the three antiviral medications to offer more choices to mild and moderate Covid-19 patients.
At present, Molnupiravir is being provided at no charge to Covid-19 patients with mild or no symptoms.
