Many parts of the province are forecast to see heavy rains with rainfall reaching up to 400 millimeters from today until November 12.
After making landfall in the mainland from Binh Dinh to Ninh Thuan provinces this afternoon, the storm will likely weaken into a tropical depression.
Another storm, known as Vamco, is forecast to gain more power, with the strongest wind at level 13, gusting at level 15, and head toward the East Sea in the next 24-36 hours. Vamco is expected to threaten the central region.
