Binh Duong Province’s Department of Taxation on January 11, 2024 organized a conference titled Review of Tax Work and Typical Taxpayers Honoring Ceremony in the 2020-2022 period.
The Typical Taxprayers Honoring Ceremony organized by the Department of Taxation of Binh Duong Province was an event to praise outstanding enterprises and taxpayers in complying with tax laws in the 2020–2022 period. These enterprises and taxpayers have made excellent achievements in implementing new projects in recent years, created a spillover effect, and led other enterprises and individuals in paying taxes.
In 2020-2022, the domestic economy was greatly affected by the pandemic. However, in the conference “Review of Tax Work and Typical Taxpayers Honoring Ceremony in 2020-2022″, 127 enterprises and individuals were praised for consciously complying with tax laws in the period shown through tax declaration and payment, making contributions to the state budget and implementation of digital transformation programs. Among these exemplary enterprises, Anheuser-Busch InBev Vietnam Brewery Company Limited (AB InBev Vietnam) was honored in the top 10 corporate taxpayers.
Truong Van Toan, Legal and Corporate Affairs Director at AB InBev Vietnam, said: “The 2020-2022 period was extremely difficult not only for the country’s economy but also for businesses in the alcoholic beverage sector. However, AB InBev Vietnam always commits to maintaining integrity in business operations, and respects laws and regulations in the countries where we are operating. With more than seven years of operation in Vietnam, we are very honored and proud to be one of the enterprises in the Top 10 tax-paying businesses.”
“This recognition from the Department of Taxation of Binh Duong Province encourages us to make further strides and contributions to the development of the market, preserve integrity, respect the law, and bring joy through the best quality beer products,” he added.
From Vietnam, Anheuser-Busch InBev hopes to share the dream of “To a Future With More Cheers”, which has been nurtured for centuries among global customers of AB InBev in general and of Vietnam in particular.
