HCMC – Hanoi Railway will operate 10 additional trains from August 31 to September 4 to meet the rising travel demand during the National Day (September 2) holiday, according to the Vietnam News Agency.
Hanoi Railway Transport JSC (Haraco) announced that the extra train services will be available on the Hanoi-Dong Hoi, Hanoi-Vinh, Hanoi-Lao Cai, and Hanoi-Haiphong routes.
On August 31, train QB1 will run extra services from Hanoi to Dong Hoi, while train BQ2 will operate in the opposite direction.
For the Hanoi-Vinh route, Haraco will run the additional train NA3 on August 31, as well as trains SE35 and SE36 from August 31 to September 9.
Passengers traveling on the Hanoi-Lao Cai route can board train SP1 from Hanoi to Lao Cai on August 31, while train SP2 will run in the opposite direction on September 3.
On the Haiphong-Hanoi route, train LP9 will provide extra services from Hanoi to Haiphong on September 1 and 2, while train LP10 and HP4 will operate in the opposite direction on September 3 and 4.
