HCMC – Nguyen Tuan Anh, first secretary of the Central Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, has assumed the post of secretary of the Party Committee of Bac Ninh Province.
The 43-year-old replaces Dao Hong Lan, who was picked as secretary of the Civil Affairs Committee and acting minister at the Ministry of Health.
Anh now sits on the Executive Board and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Bac Ninh in the 2020-2025 tenure.
Truong Thi Mai, a Politburo member and head of the Party Central Committee’s Organization Commission, today, July 23, handed the Politburo’s appointment decision to Nguyen Tuan Anh.
Anh, a native of the northern province of Thanh Hoa, is also a member of the 13th Party Central Committee, chairman of the National Committee on Youth of Vietnam, and a deputy of the National Assembly.
