HCMC – The Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), in coordination with the Saigon Times Group, today, January 26, donated 100 Tet gifts to poor households hit by the Covid-19 pandemic in Cu Chi District, HCMC through the Saigon Times-Great Circle program, an initiative of the Saigon Times Group.

The social activity was endorsed by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Cu Chi. Each gift is worth VND1 million, so the total value of the 100 gifts is VND100 million, all sponsored by BIDV.

The gifts were expected to lend a helping hand to disadvantaged laborers so that they could have a happy and warm Tet holiday.

Over the past two years, the Saigon Times Group has conducted many social activities, such as building schools, awarding scholarships to poor students, supporting frontline healthcare workers during the fight against Covid and helping underprivileged residents.
