Following the successful completion of The One Toronto project in Canada, BM Windows has once again secured a major contract for the project at 15 Sydney Avenue, Barton, ACT, located in the heart of Canberra, the capital of Australia. The company has also unveiled several impressive new projects, notably the Long Thanh International Airport, one of the 16 most eagerly awaited airport projects globally.
15 Sydney Avenue is a luxury office building covering 33,000 m2 in the picturesque capital city of Canberra, Australia. Its strategic location near government agencies and just 500 meters from the Parliament House underscores the significance of this new mixed-use development by DOMA Group, a developer with more than 40 years of experience in the Australian real estate market.
Leveraging its extensive experience and capacity in executing a broad range of projects both in Australia and internationally, BM Windows has gained the confidence of Australia’s leading façade companies, Total Facades and Facade Industry, to supply the entire aluminum glass façade system. This includes unitized curtain walls, strip windows, swing doors, aluminum louvers, and glass roofs for the project.
The façade on the upper levels employs a unitized system with a staggered design that rises floor by floor. The project exclusively utilizes double-sided ceramic-coated insulated glass to create a dynamic aesthetic and optimal energy efficiency. With a U value of 2.4 W/m2K and an SHGC of 0.24, the façade at 15 Sydney Avenue aims to achieve a 4.5 NABERS rating and a 5-star sustainable Green standard.
The Long Thanh International Airport project
The Long Thanh International Airport stands as one of Vietnam’s and the region’s most crucial infrastructure projects, attracting many of the largest national and international contractors. Designed to meet the growing demand for air travel in the region, the airport has a planned capacity to accommodate 100 million passengers and 25 million tons of cargo annually.
As the aluminum glass façade contractor for the project, BM Windows marks this as one of its flagship projects for 2024. With an ambition to become a global aviation hub, Long Thanh International Airport combines state-of-the-art technology with Vietnamese traditional culture through its distinctive façade design. BM Windows is set to construct nearly 50,000 m2 of aluminum glass in the first phase, including aluminum glass façades, aluminum louvers, smoke evacuation doors, air intake doors, emergency exits (FAB), aluminum louver doors, and glass partitions.
In the last year, BM Windows has contributed to several notable projects both domestically and internationally, such as The One Toronto, the tallest building in Canada with 91 floors; the General Department of Taxation GDT Cambodia, a landmark of Phnom Penh; The Sun Tower, a 55-story building in the prime Ba Son area of District 1, along with many other significant projects like The River Thu Thiem, Zeit Thu Thiem, Nexus, Global City, Metropole, Lotte Mall HN, De La Sol, Wínk Hotel, and The Rivus Elie Saab Thu Duc among others.
