HCMC – Traveling along Bus Line No. 44, tourists can explore various destinations and numerous activities on Thanh Da Peninsula in Binh Thanh District, HCMC. This area is known as an ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life, especially on scorching days.

Bus Line No. 44 operates from Kho Muoi station in District 4 to Binh Quoi ferry station in Binh Thanh District, running daily from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. Buses run at intervals of 10-15 minutes, ensuring convenient transportation for passengers.

Thanh Da Residential Area

Nestled in Binh Thanh District, the Thanh Da residential area was established in 1972. Covering an expansive 36 hectares, with over 20 apartment blocks, it stands as one of Vietnam’s largest residential developments at the time of its inception.

The area is divided into two clusters, distinguished by Latin letters and Roman numerals, respectively. Surrounding the residential enclave are various amenities, including parks, markets, and eateries.

Thanh Da Waterbus Station

Located near Block 1 of the Thanh Da residential area in Binh Thanh District, the Thanh Da Waterbus Station is a pivotal stop for the Saigon Waterbus.

Operational since November 2017, it offers passengers a scenic journey along the Saigon River for just VND15,000 per ticket. Visitors can also see the sunset from the nearby Binh Trieu Bridge.

Thanh Da Riverside

A short distance from Block S of the Thanh Da residential area, Thanh Da Riverside is easily accessible via Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street. Upon reaching Kinh Bridge, travelers turn onto Binh Quoi Street and proceed to Thanh Da Street.

At the street’s end lies a charming riverside promenade, adorned with over 30 food stalls catering to visitors’ culinary desires. While many stalls operate throughout the day, the riverside truly comes to life after 6 p.m. Here, visitors can admire the scenic beauty of the Saigon River and the iconic Landmark 81 skyscraper.

Binh Quoi Tourist Villages

For those seeking a tranquil escape from the city’s hustle and bustle, Binh Quoi tourist area offers an idyllic retreat rich in southern culture. Comprising Binh Quoi 1, 2, and 3, these villages boast expansive grounds, lush greenery, and picturesque waterways.

Visitors can partake in various entertainment activities, indulge in camping adventures with loved ones, and savor local delicacies such as steamed snakehead fish, grilled chicken, and fried sticky rice.

Golden Bee Farm (Nong Trai Ong Vang)

Nestled in the Thanh Da peninsula, the Golden Bee Farm covers 13,000 square meters, offering visitors a taste of Thai-inspired ecotourism. Designed as an ecological farm, it presents a range of recreational activities.

From tree planting to fruit and vegetable picking, as well as fishing, guests can indulge in nostalgic childhood experiences. The farm also hosts tailored outdoor activities for children, making it an ideal family weekend retreat.

Standup Paddleboarding at Saigon Paddle

For those seeking outdoor adventures, standup paddleboarding (SUP) at Saigon Paddle is a must-try experience within the Thanh Da peninsula. Paddling along the Saigon River bank, participants can soak in the cityscape and bask in the fresh air.

Rental prices for SUP boards range from VND300,000 to VND500,000 per session, offering an invigorating way to relieve stress and improve overall health.

Cloud Village (Lang May)

Cloud Village is an experiential tourism and culinary complex in Thanh Da. Visiting this destination, travelers can immerse themselves in the cool atmosphere of lush greenery.  The grounds are divided into several areas with a variety of activities such as traditional folk games, cycling, and more. 

Cloud Village also features areas serving coffee, food, and outdoor barbecue dinners for families in the evening. Moreover, the complex offers workshops such as pottery making and ceramic pattern painting for both adults and children.
