HCMC – The eighth Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival will be held in March 2023 to promote Vietnamese coffee and solidify the country’s position in the international coffee industry.

The government of the Central Highlands province of Daklak on June 7 passed a plan to organize the eighth edition in 2023, the local media reported.

The eighth Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival, themed “Buon Ma Thuot – A destination of the world coffee,” will take place from March 10 to 14, 2023. The festival will feature activities such as the Daklak investment promotion conference, a coffee exhibition, a seminar on the development of specialty Vietnamese coffee, an international trade conference, a street parade, a contest for farmers, among others.

The event is expected to promote the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee brand, develop Vietnam’s specialty coffee, turn Daklak Province into one of the world’s leading coffee destinations, and increase the value and position of Vietnamese coffee in the global market.

Pham Ngoc Nghi, Chairman of Daklak Province, assigned the provincial departments and agencies to carefully prepare for the festival to make it more successful than the previous editions.

The Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival is held every two years. However, after the seventh edition in 2019, the festival was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
