Located off the coast of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, Con Dao Island is known as a paradise for tourism. Its painful yet heroic historical imprints, coupled with breathtaking natural scenery, make the island a popular destination for many tourists.

Con Dao is home to numerous historical sites such as Con Dao Prison, Pier Relic 914, and Hang Duong Cemetery. The natural landscapes include beautiful beaches like Dam Trau, An Hai, Hon Bay Canh, and Hon Tre Lon. Notable are the stunning shallow coral reefs.

Con Dao is also a conservation area for sea turtles. Visitors can witness sea turtles during the hatching season when they come ashore to lay eggs.
