HCMC – The Consular Club HCMC is set to bring back its International Charity Bazaar on Saturday, November 9, at Global City in An Phu, District 2.
Expected to draw over 1,500 attendees, the event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. will feature nearly 100 vendors, offering a diverse selection of international goods and foods, along with cultural performances, raffles, and family-friendly entertainment.
“We are incredibly excited to hold our International Charity Bazaar again this year,” said Consular Club President Milena Padula. “This is our 30th anniversary in HCMC, and there’s no better way to celebrate than by hosting this vibrant event in a spacious, modern setting.”
Proceeds from this year’s bazaar will benefit local charities, including Newborns Vietnam, which works to reduce infant mortality and improve maternal health.
Last year, the Consular Club raised US$177,000 at its annual fundraising dinner held on September 30, marking the highest total in the organization’s 29-year history. Funds from that event were directed toward four charity organizations: VietHarvest, Planète Enfants et Développement Vietnam, and the Brighter Path Girl’s Club of VinaCapital Foundation, supporting initiatives across Southern Vietnam.
The Consular Club, established in 1994, is a non-political, non-profit organization composed of international and Vietnamese representatives affiliated with consular missions in HCMC. The group brings together the diplomatic and private sector communities to raise funds for local charities, with an emphasis on advancing gender equality, sustainability, and enhancing the quality of life for vulnerable populations in southern Vietnam.
