HCMC – Five hotels and resorts and three tourist sites have been found eligible to serve international tourists to Danang City in the city’s pilot program to welcome back foreign visitors.
The Danang Department of Tourism today, December 2, announced the tourist facilities after its first phase of selection, Tuoi Tre Online reported.
These lodging facilities are Vinpearl Condotel Riverfront Danang, Vinpearl Resort and Spa, Vinpearl Luxury Resort, Risemount Hotel, and Muong Thanh Luxury Danang, while the three tourist attractions comprise Ngu Hanh Son (Marble Mountains), the Museum of Cham Sculpture, and Sun World Ba Na Hills.
Besides, the municipal department selected nine tourism transport service providers.
After the pilot program to welcome international visitors was announced, the Danang Department of Tourism has received numerous applications from tourist facilities to participate in the program.
Danang City was set to welcome international tourists in early December, but many flights have been delayed due to concerns over the spread of the new coronavirus variant, Omicron, and travel restrictions by multiple countries worldwide.
