DANANG – Danang expects the week-long Golf Tourism Festival Danang 2022, which began on August 27, and other events to lure 60,300 local and international visitors during the National Day holiday.
This is the first time Danang has been organizing the golf tourism festival, highlighted by the golf tournament. They are expected to attract over 140 local and international golf players. The golf tournament is an opportunity for Danang to be promoted as a leading Asian event and festival destination.
Besides, from August 31 to September 4, there will be diverse activities such as cultural festivals along Han River bands 2022, street music, street magic, Han River and street dances, water and fire shows at the Dragon Bridge every Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, and three online music nights at the Toom Sara tourism village.
To meet the increasing travel demand of visitors to Danang in the coming days, airlines have added flights to Danang from HCMC and Hanoi.
Domestic and international flights to Danang from August 31 to September 5 would total 531, bringing in 60,300 visitors. Some sightseeing spots expected to receive large numbers of tourists are Sun World Ba Na Hills, Asia Park, Nui Than Tai Hot Springs, Ngu Hanh Son and the Mikazuki Water Park 365.
