HCMC – The Central Inspection Commission has proposed taking disciplinary measures against Nguyen Xuan Ky, former secretary of the Quang Ninh Province Party Committee, Bui Van Cuong, former secretary-general of the National Assembly, and other officials of various provinces.
At the 49th session of the Central Inspection Commission held on October 28 and 29, after reviewing the inspection results, the Central Inspection Commission found that the Standing Committee of the Quang Ninh Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, and the Party Civil Affairs Committee of the Quang Ninh People’s Committee for the 2021-2026 term have been negligent, allowing multiple organizations and individuals to violate regulations relating to projects carried out by Thuan An Group JVC.
Nguyen Xuan Ky, former member of the Party Central Committee, secretary of the Quang Ninh Party Committee, chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, must be held accountable for the above violations.
The Central Inspection Commission thus recommended considering disciplinary measures against the Standing Committee of the Quang Ninh Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, and Nguyen Xuan Ky.
According to the Central Inspection Committee, the Standing Committee of the Dak Lak Province Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term and the Party Civil Affairs Committee of the Dak Lak People’s Committee for the 2016-2021 and 2021-2026 terms lacked responsibilities in management, resulting in many organizations and individuals violating regulations in the implementation of the Ho Chi Minh Road project, a section in the eastern Buon Ma Thuot City.
Responsibility for the above violations belongs to Bui Van Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, secretary-general of the National Assembly, secretary of the Party Committee, head of the National Assembly Office, and former secretary of the Dak Lak Province Party Committee.
The Central Inspection Commission proposed competent authorities impose disciplinary measures on the Standing Committee of the Dak Lak Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term, and Bui Van Cuong.
At the meeting, the commission also considered a proposal to apply disciplinary action against Nguyen Xuan Dong and Nguyen Viet Hien, who violated regulations in the Party Committees of Ha Nam and Thai Binh.
