HCMC – The five-star Concordia-class cruise ship Costa Serena arrived at Phu Quoc Island yesterday, becoming the first such vessel to visit the tourist paradise off Kien Giang Province since the country lifted Covid-19 travel restrictions on March 15, 2022.
The Italian-flagged vessel carrying 3,500 passengers and 1,056 sailors made a port call at Duong Dong, Phu Quoc City following its Thailand visit.
Passengers visited some places of interest on Phu Quoc until 5:00 p.m. before the cruise ship continued its voyage.
