Once traveling to the northernmost mountainous region of Vietnam, tourists should visit traditional flea markets here. Bac Ha flea market in Bac Ha Town in Lao Cai Province is held every Sunday and is one of the region’s largest and most impressive flea markets.

People trade in agricultural products, livestock, fabrics, and silk at the market. Visiting the market, tourists can experience local specialties such as noodle soup and horse meat hotpots and discover the local culture. At night, there are campfires, singing and dancing with Khen (local musical instrument) at the market.
