The recent stock market recovery has seen foreign investors resuming net buying. What factors are driving the market and potentially altering foreign investors’ next moves? Remarkable recovery After hitting a low of 1,185 points on August 5, the VN-Index added nearly 80 points, or 6.5%, during the first trading session of the week on August 19. The final trading day of the previous week saw the benchmark index picking up by nearly 30 points, with trading volume soaring by 2.1 times compared to the session before, igniting investor enthusiasm. During the August 19 session, the VN-Index gained 10 points. In just two trading days, it jumped by 40 points, equivalent to half of the total points it accumulated in the 10 sessions from August 6 to 19.
