HCMC – FPT Corporation has inked several agreements on digital transformation with Japanese firms during the Vietnam-Japan Economic Forum 2023, which recently took place in Tokyo.

In one collaboration, FPT will team up with Yamato Holdings, a Japanese logistics company, to drive digital transformation for Yamato Holdings’ clients in Vietnam. FPT will also work together with Yamato Holdings to create solutions for enhancing Vietnam’s logistics system.

Another agreement involves integrating FPT’s TradeFlat financial technology ecosystem with TradeWaltz, a leading Japanese trade information platform. This integration is set to boost digital transformation throughout the entire trade process across the Asia-Pacific region.

During Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s visit to Japan from December 15 to 18, FPT assisted in organizing a meeting between the head of Vietnam’s Government and representatives from 10 prominent Japanese semiconductor and chip firms.

These firms expressed keen interest in collaborating with Vietnam within the semiconductor sector.

PM Chinh indicated Vietnam’s desire to substantially develop its semiconductor industry, aiming for a breakthrough and more influential role in global supply chains. The country will continue to offer favorable policies to businesses and investors in this sector, including tax and land incentives.
