HCMC – FV Hospital has been named in the Best Specialized Hospitals Asia Pacific 2026 ranking in four medical specialties, becoming one of the most recognized Vietnamese hospitals in the inaugural year Vietnam was assessed.

The ranking was published on June 17 by U.S.-based Newsweek and data research firm Statista. More than 3,500 hospitals across 11 countries and territories in the Asia-Pacific region were evaluated, with 311 hospitals making the final list.

FV was recognized in cardiology and interventional cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology and hepatology, and pulmonology. In southern Vietnam, only FV Hospital and Cho Ray Hospital were listed.

According to Newsweek and Statista, the ranking is based on surveys of thousands of physicians, healthcare professionals, and hospital managers across the region. Participants are not allowed to vote for their own institutions.

FV’s cardiology department was recognized for treating complex cardiovascular conditions and adopting technologies such as transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), intravascular lithotripsy (IVL), AI-assisted intervention planning, and leadless pacemakers.
