HCMC – GELEX Electricity JSC (HOSE: GEE) has proposed a combined 50% dividend for 2025, including 30% in cash plus a 20% share dividend, according to its latest annual general meeting documents.

Under the plan, GELEX wants to issue 61 million additional shares at a 5:1 rights offering, equivalent to a 20% issuance rate. The issuance is scheduled for the second and third quarters of this year.

The company has paid an interim cash dividend of 10% and plans to distribute the remaining 20% of the total dividend within the year.

GELEX Electricity has forecast its consolidated revenue at nearly VND22.3 trillion this year, a 5.5% increase over the previous year. However, it expects its pre-tax profit to slip 21.6% to VND1.69 trillion due to the absence of one-time gains from divestments recorded last year.

The company said its core business remains stable, with plans to invest in research and development for high-tech products.

Closing the trading session today, March 10, GEE stayed flat at VND67,900, with 736,900 shares changing hands.
