HCMC – Vu Thu Ha, director of the Hanoi City Department of Home Affairs, has been picked as vice chairwoman of the municipal People’s Committee for the 2021-2026 tenure.
The municipal People’s Council held its 11th meeting today, March 10, to elect Ha as vice chair of the city government, the local media reported.
The 51-year-old native of Hanoi formerly served as chairwoman of Long Bien District in the 2011-2016 period. She was appointed director of the Department of Home Affairs in 2019.
The Hanoi People’s Committee of the 2021-2026 tenure is currently led by Chairman Tran Sy Thanh and his six deputies are Le Hong Son, Nguyen Trong Dong, Duong Duc Tuan, Ha Minh Hai, Nguyen Manh Quyen and Vu Thu Ha.
