HCMC – The Hanoi Tourism Festival 2022 kicked off last night, May 13, in Hoan Kiem District. The event is expected to attract some 30,000-50,000 visitors.
Nguyen Anh Duong, director of the Hanoi Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, said the festival, taking place at the same time as the 31st Southeast Asian Games, will be a good chance to introduce tourist destinations, products and services in Hanoi to international visitors.
The event is also a good opportunity for travel businesses to develop tour programs to attract more tourists from home and abroad to the capital city and promote tourism growth.
The event, being held from May 13 to 15, features 150 booths set up by tour firms, tourist site operators, airlines and representatives of nine provinces and cities, including Yen Bai, An Giang, Khanh Hoa and Quang Nam. These booths will offer a vast array of promotional tour programs and special deals from airlines.
