The capital city of Hanoi on November 27 launched its Covid vaccination campaign for ninth graders, who are 14 years of age, with more than 38,200 doses of the Pfizer vaccine being administered.

In related news, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has ordered the ministries of Health and Public Security and the Thanh Hoa government to promptly launch a probe into the Covid vaccination deaths in Thanh Hoa Province.

The competent units and the Thanh Hoa government were told to clarify the reason why four workers of the Kim Viet Footwear Co. in Nong Cong District died after getting a shot of the vaccine on November 23 and submit the report to the prime minister prior to November 30, the local media reported.

The Ministry of Health was tasked with collaborating with other competent units and local authorities to ensure that storage conditions of the Covid vaccine were in line with the ministry’s regulations. The Covid vaccine doses will not be allocated to districts that fail to meet vaccine storage requirements.
