HCMC – City International Hospital in HCMC’s Binh Tan District today announced that it would suspend operations for three days, from July 29 to 31, after it suspected two patients, who are receiving treatment at the hospital, of being infected with Covid-19.
During the suspension period, the hospital will not welcome visitors and contractors, Phap Luat Online reported, citing its notice.
“Sorry for this inconvenience. Thank You!” the notice read.
On the same day, the HCMC Department of Health sent a dispatch to the hospital, asking it to proactively adopt Covid-19 infection prevention and control measures and temporarily refuse new patients while waiting for a conclusion from the Ministry of Health over the two suspected cases.
On July 28, the two suspected cases tested positive for the coronavirus, VnExpress news site reported, citing the HCMC Hospital for Tropical Diseases.
