Nguyen Van Binh Book Street also attracts crowds, with its space adorned with flowers, calligraphy scrolls and traditional decorative items. Visitors, local and international alike, walk leisurely, take photos and browse books in the green, pedestrian-friendly area in the city center
Nearby, Tet flower installations and traditional-themed landscapes at Diamond Plaza are another popular photo spot for foreign tourists during the lead-up to Tet
Following recent urban upgrades, the flower park near Ba Son Station of Metro Line No. 1 is a new Tet destination, offering expanded green areas, walkways and floral displays for sightseeing and photography
The recently built park at the long-deserted Phan Dinh Phung Sports Arena project site now features green plants and colorful flowers
Along Dong Khoi Street and Chi Lang Park, the newly developed photography street, a cultural space dedicated to visual arts, also receives strong interest from international visitors
Kim Min-soo, a tourist from South Korea, said HCMC offers many attractive photo spots, and that walking between the attractions in the downtown is convenient
Sarah Brown, a visitor from Australia, said she is impressed by the traditional ao dai and the Tet atmosphere and that cultural activities in the downtown help foreign tourists better understand how Vietnamese people preserve and promote traditional Tet values
