Heartfelt moments of military-civilian solidarity on National Day

HCMC – After parading through Ba Dinh Square early on the morning of September 2, military formations and equipment columns spread across the streets of Hanoi, greeted by cheers, waves, and handshakes from local residents.

The morning of September 2 saw the solemn ceremony commemorating the 80th anniversaries of the August Revolution and National Day at Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi.

The event was attended by current and former leaders of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front, along with numerous delegates, distinguished guests from home and abroad, and people nationwide.

Following the address by Party General Secretary To Lam, the military parade marking the 80th National Day officially began. The program featured air force formations, naval units at the Cam Ranh military base in Khanh Hoa Province, and columns of armed forces, police, and equipment.

After marching through Ba Dinh Square, the formations continued along many streets of Hanoi, cheered on by residents.
