HCMC – The 16th Vietnam International Furniture & Home Accessories Fair (VIFA EXPO 2025) has opened in HCMC, featuring 650 exhibitors from Vietnam and elsewhere in the world.

Running from March 5 to 8 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in District 7, the event showcases a wide range of indoor and outdoor furniture, handicrafts, home decor, machinery, equipment, tools, and supporting services.

The expo has attracted exhibitors from 19 countries and territories, accounting for 52% of participants, while the remaining 48% are Vietnamese businesses from 17 provinces and cities across the country.

To support Vietnamese businesses in expanding their global reach, the organizers are partnering with cross-border e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Wayfair to facilitate B2C trade with international consumers.

During the event, industry experts will hold seminars on key topics, including “Updates on Global Furniture Import and Export Trends and 2025 Forecast” and “Indoor and Outdoor Furniture Industry Moving Towards the Net Zero Market – Opportunities and Challenges.”

Nguyen Van Dung, vice chairman of the HCMC People’s Committee, emphasized that VIFA EXPO is not only a longstanding trade fair in the wood and furniture sector but also a key driver of growth for Vietnam’s furniture industry.

He added that hosting large-scale trade promotion events that attract global businesses is crucial in establishing HCMC as a leading hub for the indoor and outdoor furniture trade in the region.
