HCMC – The 24th International Shoes and Leather Exhibition – Vietnam (Shoes & Leather – Vietnam 2024) opened yesterday, July 10, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC) in HCMC. It is incorporating the 24th International Footwear & Leather Products Exhibition.
The trade fair is one of the most important events for the shoes and leather industry in the ASEAN region.
It showcases a wide range of shoe-making machinery and technologies, materials, components, accessories, and finished products. There are over 800 exhibitors from 20 countries and territories, including Italy, Germany, France, China, Japan, and South Korea.
Nguyen Duc Thuan, chairman of the Vietnam Leather, Footwear and Handbag Association (LEFASO), stated that this annual exhibition series aims to provide domestic and international businesses with an opportunity to meet and explore cooperation.
It also provides a platform for Vietnamese enterprises to showcase their products to both domestic and international buyers and partners, enhancing export promotion and market expansion.
The event is scheduled to run from July 10 to 12 and expected to attract around 15,000 visitors.
