HCMC – Laos’ Party General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith and his spouse arrived in Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi today morning (September 10), starting a four-day state visit to Vietnam, according to the Vietnam News Agency.
The trip, scheduled from September 10 to 13, is made at the invitation of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee and President of Vietnam To Lam and his spouse.
The leaders of the two Parties and countries are expected to update each other on recent developments in their respective nations, outline key directions for further enhancing bilateral relations, and discuss regional and international issues of mutual interest to promote peace, stability, cooperation and development both regionally and globally.
To Lam visited Laos on July 11-12 in his capacity as State President of Vietnam.
