HCMC – HCMC’s Department of Construction has proposed breaking ground on four major projects around the upcoming April 30 holiday to commemorate the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.
Those four projects are the Ben Thanh-Thu Thiem section of Metro Line 2, a central square (component 4) within a new administrative complex, the renovation of the Ho Chi Minh Museum, and the Berjaya International University urban area.
The department said the projects were selected after reviewing implementation progress, legal documentation and commitments from developers, and were expected to meet all investment and construction requirements before the ceremony date.
The groundbreaking ceremonies are scheduled for April 29, with total investment for the four projects estimated at VND142 trillion.
