HCMC – Domestic prices of SJC-brand gold bars and rings fell today, December 13, with some jewelry companies cutting their buying and selling prices for SJC gold bars by VND900,000 per tael against yesterday’s session.
At around 9:30 a.m. on December 13, SJC gold bars at Bao Tin Minh Chau and DOJI were both listed at VND83.9 million per tael for buying and VND86.4 million per tael for selling, a sharp decline of VND900,000 per tael on both sides.
Similarly, Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) and PNJ quoted the buying and selling prices for SJC gold bars at VND83.9 million per tael and VND86.4 million per tael, respectively. This marks a decrease of VND700,000 per tael compared to yesterday.
The domestic gold ring market has seen some volatility.
As of now, gold rings at SJC are bought at VND83.8 million per tael and sold at VND85.2 million, marking a drop of VND700,000 compared to yesterday.
At Phu Quy Company, gold ring prices have also dropped by VND700,000 per tael for both buying and selling to the range of VND84-85.4 million per tael. At PNJ, gold rings are listed at VND84-85.2 million per tael, with a decrease of VND800,000 per tael on the buying side and VND700,000 per tael on the selling side compared to the previous session.
