HCMC – The Vietage, a luxury train service linking Danang City and Quy Nhon City in Binh Dinh Province, will resume its operation on April 1, the Vietnam Railways Corporation said on March 20.

The The Vietage carriage will be joined with the SE5 train at the Danang station to depart in the morning and will be connected with the SE8 train to return to the city from the Dieu Tri station in Binh Dinh Province in the afternoon on the same day.

The luxury train service charges a passenger US$350 one-way. The ticket for the six-hour train ride that carries no more than 12 passengers also includes a meal, wine and beer and massage, the local media reported.

Earlier in July 2020, the railway authority put the The Vietage train service into operation to offer a comfortable and luxurious experience to travelers. However, the luxury service was suspended due to the Covid pandemic.

In late 2021, the CNN news channel listed The Vietage among six amazing Asia train journeys.
