HCMC – Marriott International’s luxury hotel portfolio will launch the third edition of its Luxury Dining Series across Asia-Pacific from August to October, featuring culinary events in Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, the Maldives and aboard a new voyage operated by The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.

The program, themed “Across the Table”, will bring together chefs, sommeliers and mixologists for a series of dining experiences designed to highlight local cultures and culinary traditions while encouraging social connections through food.

Vietnam will host the opening event from August 5-9 at JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort & Spa. The resort will present collaborative dining experiences featuring chefs Olivier Elzer, Summer Le, Nguyen Hai Hung and Vietnamese culinary expert Madam Anh Tuyet.

The Vietnam program will include Vietnamese heritage-inspired menus, seafood-focused beachfront dinners and champagne-paired culinary experiences, Marriott said.

Other destinations participating in the series include luxury properties in Thailand, Indonesia, Japan and the Maldives, as well as a newly introduced voyage aboard Luminara, operated by The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.

“The focus this year is on the emotional side of dining — the conversations, stories and cultural exchanges that happen around the table,” said Oriol Montal, regional vice president of Luxury, Marriott International Asia Pacific (excluding China).

The series is being developed in partnership with Moët Hennessy and forms part of Marriott’s strategy to expand experiential luxury travel offerings across the region.

Accommodation packages linked to the events will be available at participating properties, while members of Marriott’s loyalty program will be able to redeem points for selected dining experiences.
