HCMC – Residents of the Mizuki apartment complex, where a fire broke out yesterday evening, have returned to their homes, according to the building’s developer, Nam Long Group.
While one security guard suffered from smoke inhalation and required medical attention, there were no other casualties, reported the Vietnam News Agency.
Nam Long Group stated that power had been fully restored, and the company was cooperating with local authorities to determine the cause of the fire.
The fire, believed to have originated from an electrical cabinet on the third floor, was quickly extinguished by local firefighters. Hundreds of residents were forced to evacuate after smoke and flames were seen emanating from the building.
