HCMC – The French Consulate General in HCMC held cooking and table-setting workshops under the “Goût de France 2026” program on April 24, 2026 at the French Residence, with around 50 selected participants.
The program included a cooking class and a French table-setting workshop. Participants prepared a full meal, including appetizer, main course and dessert, and shared lunch at the venue.
The table-setting workshop introduced serving rules and dining arrangements in the French style.
The sessions were led by French and Vietnamese chefs and experts working in the French culinary and hospitality sector in HCMC, including chef Thao Na, chef Alain Pham, chef Nguyen Quoc Lap, wine importer Parcelles, and the team from Hôtel des Arts Saigon.
According to the consulate, the event aimed to promote knowledge sharing and introduce French cuisine through practical activities, while recognizing individuals contributing to the development of French gastronomy in Vietnam.
