HCMC – An Bang beach in the central ancient town of Hoi An and My Khe beach in the central coastal city of Danang have made it to TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best Beaches in Asia list, ranking fifth and sixth, respectively.
TripAdvisor described An Bang as a picturesque destination with powder-white sand, complemented by blue skies and stunning views.
“The beach is set against a lush, green backdrop and home to a coral reef, making it a perfect spot for swimming and snorkeling. Thrill-seekers can go paragliding, jet skiing, and body surfing in the cool blue waters,” TripAdvisor wrote on its website.
My Khe beach, on the other hand, offers visitors a serene beach day experience with its powdery-soft sand, gentle surf, and coconut trees swaying in the breeze. It is renowned for surfing and swimming, offering an ideal retreat for relaxation.
My Khe was the sole Vietnamese beach listed in TripAdvisor’s 2023 rankings, where it secured the 8th position. Other beaches featured on the list include Kelingking Beach in Indonesia, Banana Beach in Thailand, Haeundae Beach in South Korea, Radhanagar Beach in India, and Mirissa Beach in Sri Lanka.
