HCMC – The January-November period has seen a robust increase in the establishment and resumption of businesses.
Data of the General Statistics Office showed that over 200,000 enterprises have joined or re-entered the market, rising by 3.5% year-on-year and 1.2 times higher than the average in the 2018-2022 period.
Newly registered capital has declined by 29% to VND3.15 quadrillion, though. New businesses have total registered capital of nearly VND1.4 quadrillion, up by 7.9%. The additional capital committed by existing enterprises has plummeted by 40% to VND1.78 quadrillion.
Data showed that 90% of the newly established businesses are small, with their capital below VND10 billion each.
