HCMC – Vietnam’s new daily Covid case count today, May 30, rose by 228 against yesterday to 1,118 cases in 45 cities and provinces.
Bac Ninh posted the highest case count, at 265, followed by Hanoi with 261 and Yen Bai with 62.
Nearly 8,200 patients were announced to have recovered from the disease today, raising the country’s total recoveries to nearly 9.46 million, while no Covid fatalities were recorded.
Minister of Health Nguyen Thanh Long has written to hospitals under the Ministry of Health, the local Departments of Health, and healthcare agencies, asking them to step up the treatment of long Covid.
