HCMC – Retail prices of petrol products in the local market were hiked again for the fifth straight time at 3 p.m. today, November 10, up by around VND600 per liter, according to an announcement jointly issued by the ministries of Finance and Industry and Trade.

The prices of bio-fuel E5 RON92 and RON95 petrol are now capped at VND23,660 and VND24,990 per liter, rising VND560 and VND660, respectively.

Meanwhile, the prices of diesel oil and kerosene remained unchanged at VND18,710 and VND17,630 per liter, respectively. Heavy fuel oil fell by nearly VND390 per kilogram to VND16,820.

During this fuel price adjustment, the ministries continued not imposing a surcharge on bio-fuel E5 RON92, RON95 petrol, and diesel oil to replenish the national fuel price stabilization fund. However, the ministries charged buyers VND150 for each liter of kerosene and VND500 for each kilogram of heavy fuel oil.

Local fuel traders were allowed to tap the fund at VND800 for each liter of bio-fuel RON92 sold to customers, VND100 for each liter of RON95 petrol, VND8 for each liter of diesel oil, and VND44 for each liter of kerosene.
