HCMC – Tourists to Quang Nam Province’s Hoi An City in April can leisurely enjoy Vietnam’s landscapes through an exhibition of photos in the framework of the “Vietnam’s impressions through heritage areas” program held by Sai Gon Tiep Thi, a publication of The Saigon Times Group, in association with the Quang Nam Tourism Association and The Field Restaurant, on April 20-22.

The event will be held at The Field Restaurant with the companion of Truong Hai Auto Corporation (THACO).

The exhibition will feature photos of impressive destinations voted by readers of Sai Gon Tiep Thi in 2021, including the top seven attractions with breathtaking sceneries, the top seven venues with beautiful city views at night, the top seven marvelous waterfalls, the top seven magnificent mountain passes and the top seven destinations with extravagant aerial views.

The Vietnam’s Top 7 Impressions program initiated in 2020-2021 is a non-profit vote with an aim to help the local tourism sector recover after being hit by the Covid-19 pandemic for two years.

In the framework of the “Vietnam’s impressions through heritage areas” event and in response to the National Tourism Year 2022, Sai Gon Tiep Thi will also coordinate with the Quang Nam Tourism Association and The Field to hold a seminar, themed “Opportunities and challenges for Quang Nam and enterprises in developing the green tourism,” on April 20 at The Field Restaurant.

The seminar will be attended by Phan Xuan Thanh, chairman of the Quang Nam Tourism Association, an entrepreneur adhering to the zero-waste business philosophy and spreading the circular economy model; the “A little Vietnam” group which has traveled through 63 cities and provinces across Vietnam to plant trees; and Mr. Andrew J. Smith, who has collected waste with his wife and called for the environmental protection in Danang City.

During the seminar, speakers will retell their stories to spread the sustainable tourism development spirit and discuss opportunities and challenges of Quang Nam and tourism firms in developing the green tourism.

On April 20, Sai Gon Tiep Thi will also launch the vote for Vietnam’s impressions in 2022. Readers can send recommendations on destinations to Sai Gon Tiep Thi and vote for their favorite destinations in the last three months of the year. This year, the program will have an additional category—top seven ecotourism sites—to respond to the green and ecofriendly tourism trend.
