HCMC – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has met with four leading corporations in United Arab Emirates (UAE) to come to Vietnam for business and investment.
Attending the meeting were Tamer Wagih Salem, chairman of Prime Group, Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, chief executive officer of Abu Dhabi Ports Group (ADPG), Neils De Bruijn, director of NDMC, and Khaled Al Shemeili, director of Emirates Vehicles Company.
These corporations expressed interest in the Vietnamese market and proposed numerous collaborative projects. Notably, a representative from ADPG announced that the company plans to open a representative office in Vietnam in the near future.
During the meeting with leaders of the corporations, PM Chinh highlighted Vietnam’s three strategic breakthroughs, especially in strategic infrastructure projects. He suggested that Abu Dhabi Ports Group and NDMC study and enhance cooperation and investment in this field in Vietnam.
In addition, he called for the corporations to focus on areas such as digital transformation, green energy, and innovation, such as the collaboration between VinFast and Emirates Driving in electric vehicle (EV) production.
