HCMC – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has proposed that the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA) support the enhancement of the capacity of logistics businesses in Vietnam.

He made the proposal at his meeting on July 9 with Turgut Erkeskin, president of FIATA, reported the Vietnam News Agency.

The PM expressed his appreciation for FIATA’s support for the Vietnam Logistics Business Association in preparing to host the FIATA World Congress 2025.

FIATA has always been a crucial bridge fostering collaboration between associations, Vietnamese logistics enterprises, and global partners, contributing to the growth of this sector in Vietnam, he said.

PM Chinh proposed that FIATA closely coordinate with Vietnam to accelerate the efficient and sustainable development of the logistics industry, aiming to help the country finalize its national logistics development strategy in 2024.

He expressed hopes that FIATA will support human resource development in Vietnam’s logistics industry, expanding training programs to enhance the capacity of Vietnamese logistics enterprises.
